This weekend Eric & I took a trip to Cape Cod in Massachusetts. It was awesome, very realxing, and involved lots of sun, rum, and lobster. I've spent a lot of time my whole life along the east coast; from Miami, FL to Myrtle Beach, SC to the entire coast of New England... And this weekend I found the nicest beach I've ever seen on the east coast: Nauset Beach. The warm water was clear turquoise, and had no rocks, seaweed, or debris...the white sand was beautiful, and the miles of dunes behind the beach made the place seem very exotic and isolated. Honestly, it reminded me of the beaches I encountered when I was on the Turks & Caicos islands, in the Carribbean. Unfooortunately I left my camera at home, and these internet
photos do NO justice for how it really was. There were some decent waves, and we had rented surfboards for the day, but the waves were breaking too shallow to catch anything worthwhile.... and the fact that there was a shark swimming among us in the water made us spend the rest of the day in the sand anyways!
