So I was listening to a song by John Lennon called "Grow Old With Me" and it has quickly become my favorite. I can't believe I never noticed this song when I've had it for at least two years. Anyway I decided to record myself playing, more for my personal enjoyment than anyone else. I just like to see how I look when I play guitar. I also noticed that I make a lot of funny faces. So anyway, yeah, here's a version of the song that is nowhere near as good as John Lennon's obviously. I also recorded it seperately as an audio file and I didn't mess up as much on that one. Anywho, here it is

Sunday was pretty fun. I jsut kinda hung out, Kate's mom came up to drop off her sister Liz, so Kate, Liz, her boyfriend Ryan, Mrs. Bowman, and I all got dinner. After dinner I went and played soccer with Kate and three other people. It was a lot of fun and I was so exhausted. I'm in such bad shape haha.

On Monday I didn't have any classes. Everyone else did. So Monday was mostly relaxing for me. I ended up having to study a long list of vocab words for Spanish. Then yesterday I had a Spanish quiz that I was freaking out about. It was pretty easy. Then I found out that I have a Spanish midterm next week. Woo!

Last night I was just thinking, and I really really really miss Mickey.

He is the best dog I have ever known. He has all the qualities that people hope to have in a dog. He is extremely loving, loveable, loyal, playful, and just eternally happy except for when he is away from the people that he loves. When we leave the house and he is all alone, he can be heard howling inside the house. To me, it is the saddest sound I have ever heard. It's impossible to describe how miserable he is when he howls. All I can say is that after hearing that I wanted to cry myself. I really miss Mickey and I hate having to say goodbye to him when I go away. I wish I could have him up here with me.

Last night, my roommate and I made a fort. We decided to name it Fort Frodigy.

The weekend

So over the weekend I went home and visited. I stopped by Mattei's Deli and hung out there for an hour, visited my grandparents who were really happy to see me, went to Kettletown State Park, then came home for some Halo 3. The following day was my mother's birthday so we all went out to eat at Olive Garden and then I came back up to Uconn.
