Annoying Habit

I'm sitting here at Yale, enjoying some Cheez-It's, a hot pocket, and a cup of water, and I've decided I need to add something new to my list of plans for 2007. I need to stop whistling when I have nothing to say to somebody that I don't know that well. A student just came up and asked me for some help. So I followed them down the stairs to the 4th floor to see what the problem was. Along the way it was awkwardly silent, so I started whistling a short melody that I made up on the spot. I've noticed that I do this all the time. It's dorky and it annoys me. I don't know if it's a nervous thing, from shyness, or what. But it must stop.
Just thought I'd share.

As oppose to the verbal diarrhea that I seem to suffer from...

Chris Graham:Or the obnoxious comedy/inappropriate language that i suffer from, i mean when i don't know what to say i just say the most vile and horrible thing my mind can think up and its either funny, or i insulted everybody within hearing distance. Not that i care either way, I'm just tired of running from people and their damn torches and pitchforks
