Another Year Over

2006 was quite the interesting year. I never could have imagined that half the things that have happened would have, and I don't regret a single thing. Everything happens for a reason, both the good and the bad. I feel like I'm a totally different person than I was one year ago today. Looking back I feel like I've added an awful lot to my resume of life. I'd say the top three events of the year that I'll always remember and that I'm very proud of would be:

- Tent Spinning at Black Rock State Park
- Steph's Fall
- Stonebridge
- Newport with Steph and Patti
- The timeless weekend in the Berkshires
- Seeing Ringo Starr in concert
- Mashed potato bowls on Sunday mornings
- Finally obtaining my digital rebel
- Sadie the kitten
- Ecce Cor Meum at Carnegie Hall
- Kayaking in Black Rock Harbor
- Serendipity with Justin, Steph, and our Irish friends Richie and Tom
- The sad end to the year
I have very big hopes and plans for 2007. I expect it to be very different than '06, but hopefully much better. 2006 was very eventful for me but also very turbulent. I'm hoping for some more stability in the future. I'm more clear about who I am and where I want to be, and what my goals are for the future now, so I'm looking forward with a lot of optimism.
