John Lennon performs "Yer Blues"

I'm always trying to find new Beatles stuff online. I thought I'd seen just about all of it but tonight I came across a video of John Lennon performing "Yer Blues" with Eric Clapton, Keith Richards, and Mitch Mitchell in the film Rock and Roll Circus. The video starts off with Mick Jagger interviewing John where he is referred to as "Winston Legthigh" (Winston being John's middle name). I'm always excited to find performances of songs from the White Album, so this was a good find for me.
Also, here's a video of Paul practicing "Blackbird".

You know, when I was choosing which Beatles album to start my collection, I picked The White Album. I felt that there was, just an aura about it that attracted me. Maybe because of the bands expiriences which led them to try different things... I dunno, alls I know now is that I can't get enough of Glass Onion!

Steph :She knows her stuff!!!!! Helter Skelter is prob my fav off the White Album; one of the very first heavy metal songs. That's the one I never have, and prob never will be able to get enough of!

Sean:The White Album is a great choice for your first Beatles album. In fact, it was the first one I bought too. While I'd argue that Abbey Road is their best, the White Album has the widest variety of musical styles, and that probably explains why it appeals to the most people (and is their highest selling album).
I'm with Steph on Helter Skelter. It's just an incredible song. My other favorites would be I Will, Dear Prudence, Sexy Sadie, and Happiness is a Warm Gun. But just about every song on there is incredible. Only one I'd ditch is Revolution #9.

Kevin:way to find that video so late. i found it months ago and for a while i had it on my myspace. i dont know if i still have it up there but u should watch the videos on my myspace. anywho best songs on the white album are "back in the ussr" "mother nature's son" "yer blues" and "everybody's got something to hide except for me and my monkey"
