Hey I'm Sean. This is where you'll find about my day to day life. It's simply a hobby of mine - primarily for my own reflection but also for my friend's enjoyment.  If you don't know me and you read what I have to say anyway, fantastic.   Either way, feel free to compliment, reflect upon, or tear apart anything you see on here.  There's no greater compliment than to get some feedback, whether it's positive or not.  If you have any questions or wish to get a hold of me you can contact me directly at  sean.henri@gmail.com.  Check back often, as I post every few days or so.
 

A bit about me

I'm a guy in his mid-20's living in Derby, Connecticut. I've lived here most of my life, with the exception of a few years when I lived in the Black Rock section of Bridgeport. I attended college at Southern Connecticut State University. There I studied Advertising and Promotions and took additional classes in History, Political Science, and Photography. I've been keeping a photo blog at Riceminers.com since April of 2008.  There I'll post some of the better photos I've taken in my day-to-day life.  It simply serves as another creative outlet.

I manage, promote, and design multiple websites for a living, but I'll rarely define myself to others by the job I do. Here's a few fun facts: My favorite band is the The Beatles, and I once met Paul McCartney. I asked him to call my mother, and he did so. I love to camp, and I'm an Eagle Scout. I hope to someday master the piano, but have a long way to go. I spend most of my days roaming around Connecticut, but you'll frequently find me in the New York as well. I love to kayak. One last fun fact: I prefer to surround myself by ambitious, optimistic, passionate, and creative people.

I was just searching for a picture of New Haven Harbour when I found a stunning picture you had posted of the boats at sunset. I continued to look at your site. Unfortunately, I have to get back to work but will continue reading what you have to say about New Haven - as I am a resident, myself. Just thought I'd say hi.
