This was taken from the overlook at Little-Laurel Lime Ridge in Seymour while hiking this past weekend. It's one of my favorite views in the valley and another reason why I love Connecticut.

The Valley gets a new source for news this week with the launch of the Valley Independent Sentinel. The online-only news site will be covering the towns of Derby, Ansonia, Shelton, Seymour and Oxford.
