2008 Klondike Derby Results

Some of the members of the Troop 3 Deviled Eggs Patrol, who came in 2nd at the Klondike Derby.

Results: Out of 25 patrols, 2nd Deviled Eggs, 4th Pink Panthers, 6th Whirling Dervishes, 9th Ramones, 12th UPMA and 15th Scorching Skulls.  Congratulations Patrols and also to Cub Pack 3 Webelos, who placed 1st in the Webelos competition.

Feb 3 Superbowl Sub Sale order forms will be available tonight and can be downloaded from a previous blog entry. Help is needed on Feb 2 to slice & dice the ingredients.

Signup for the Feb 8 & 9 Troop Mohawk Mtn Ski Weekend at Strang Scout Reservation. Depart Sat night Feb 9.  We will be skiing from 8:30AM to 6PM. The rental and lift ticket prices can be found here: Mohawk Mtn prices

Feb 10 is Troop 3's Scout Sunday service at the Derby 2nd Congregational Church. All families are encouraged to attend and bring refreshments for the social hour following the service.

2008 Housatonic Council Klondike Derby

The troop is taking scout registrations for the Jan 26 Klondike Derby event at Black Rock State Park in Thomaston. The fee is $9.  All scouts are expected to participate and help their patrol to do their best at this event.

Housatonic Council Winter Camp info & registration

Housatonic Council's annual Winter Camp program will take place Feb 15-18, 2008 at Edmund D. Strang Scout Reservation. Reservation forms and information can be downloaded here. This program fills up and sells out fast, so don't delay in signing up.

Superbowl Sub Sale Order Form

Troop 3's annual Superbowl Sub Sale is now under way. Orders are being taken for one-foot and 5 foot party subs, made to order and home delivered anywhere in the Lower Naugatuck Valley.

One sub per form. All orders and money is due at the troop meeting on Jan 30. All profits benefit the scouts, who are raising funds for Summer Camp and other Scouting adventures.
