RAM
Paul McCartney released his and Linda’s 1971 album “RAM” today, and to promote it came up with this really cool “Percy Thrillington” campaign. The name Percy Thrillington traces back to a fictional character he created in 1977 for the album “Thrillington“, an instrumental cover version of the album “RAM”. There’s all sorts of cool stuff included with the re-release including a documentary about the album called “Ramming”, a snippet of which is posted above.
As a part of the campaign they’ve set up both a Facebook page and a Twitter account for Percy, which I’ve been attempting to interact with quite a bit. We even invited him along to our wedding 🙂
@P_Thrillington Ms. Kelly B. and I would be honored if Percy Thrillington & Clint Harrigan joined us on our wedding day bit.ly/JdweBR
